Jordan Ghedle - Visual Artist
I express my values and feelings through my art. I frequently choose nature and culture as my subjects, and I am particularly interested in depicting harmony between the social and biological aspects of human existence. Living in a multicultural society in Canada, I feel inspired by different approaches to beauty and the multitude of aesthetic values present in everyday life, art and culture. I try to translate those experiences into art and share them with the viewer.
Jordan Ghedle is a Toronto-based visual artist originally from Eritrea. She is a self-taught mixed-media artist. She show her work internationally, in Germany, and in Canada. She has exhibited her work on numerous occasions at the National Art Gallery of Eritrea, and was featured in various international exhibits in Germany.
Jordan uses mixed media to create traditional and abstract works.
Jordan, she relocated to Toronto, Canada in 2008. She has a Fashion Design diploma from Componi College, in the city of Asmara, Eritrea. After graduating she worked professionally with interior designers on residential or commercial projects.
